Soul

Soul is your agent’s personality. It controls how your agent talks, what it knows about you, and how it approaches tasks.

What goes in a Soul?

Think of it as instructions you’d give a new assistant on their first day:
  • Who you are — your name, what you do, your goals
  • How to respond — casual or formal, short or detailed, funny or serious
  • What to focus on — topics you care about, your industry, your audience
  • What to avoid — things you don’t want your agent to say or do

How to edit your Soul

1

Open your dashboard

Go to your agent’s dashboard and find the Soul section.
2

Write your instructions

Type plain-text instructions describing your agent’s personality and behavior. No special format needed.
3

Save

Hit save. Your agent immediately starts using the updated Soul in all conversations.

Example

Here’s a simple Soul:
You are a helpful assistant for Sarah, a freelance designer.
Keep responses short and casual. Use bullet points when possible.
Sarah's clients are small businesses and startups.
When writing social media posts, use a friendly and approachable tone.
Never use corporate buzzwords.
Start simple and add more instructions as you go. Your agent also learns from conversations, so you don’t need to put everything in the Soul upfront.
Changes to your Soul apply to all channels — web chat, Telegram, scheduled tasks, and everything else.
